About Me
Brief Bio
My name is Joyce Jefferson and I've been writing and working with the Internet ever since I could remember. As self-proclaimed “Southern Culturalist”, I have published a variety of written work (consisting of mostly of academic papers and sometimes short stories and poems) on my favorite topics on the American South, Latin America, the British isles, history, foodways, and others. I've written articles on various forms of entertainment, social issues, and the culinary world.
In my free time, I can be found glued to my laptop (more than likely procrastinating school work), reading, taking photos, traveling, cooking, reading, listening to music, spending time with family and friends, and doing research on my favorite topics. Online, I am founder of ASouthernWriter.com and other websites, with many fansites, blogs, and social media accounts scattered across the web.
